There are nothing more interesting than to learn the history of the past. This is essential. History is mean to repeat itself. Unless you use it as a guide to change the future, nothing new will take place. Knowing the past is essential not only for historians but also for political and public service employees. The old civilization can teach you a lot of things about human mistakes and natural phenomenon that greatly change the course of the history.

Philosophers and historians like Plato and Herodotus are highly captivated by these stories. The most amazing legendary history they have foretold is the Battle of Marathon. This happens during the Persian and Greek Battle. During their days, they even interviewed survivors who had fought during the war.

It was well fought. The Greek Empire manage to win through wit and strategies. Truly, you cannot expect less from people known for their great philosophers and teachers. They won the battle even with the tiniest chance they have. As you could have seen, Persia is a powerful nation back on those days. Compared to Greece, it is a hundred times more powerful and advanced.

Not only when it comes to warfare experiences but also when it comes to combat tools and highly trained soldiers. They have everything needed to secure a one sided victory. Before they attempted to capture the Greece, they have successfully captured other cities such in Iona and Macedonia. Truly, you could never compare their qualities from Greek people.

To rely upon this information, they even sent out a runner to Sparta. This runner travels for two days before relying on the message. After hearing it, the Sparta agreed to provide some assistance. Unfortunately, before they can participate in the war, they ask for several days of preparations. This what makes the Greek commanders more agitated.

This is how things turn out to be. To begin with, the situation is too unfavorable to Greece. The enemy thought so too. They underestimated the Greek Army too much. As a proof, they even load their horses back on their ship. That certain moment gives the Greek army an opportunity to start. With a credible wing formation, they set the Persian army into a trap.

They create an approach they never experienced before. These people created a ring in which they can manipulate the battleground to their advantage. Even the archers cannot make any single move knowing that they would only hit their own people under the battle field. Guts, luck, and amazing induction skill are the qualities that bring these people into victory.

The Greeks are running off time. If they wait until the help comes, the Persian may have won the war before it happens. It is a gamble to their part. That is why they decided not to lay around and wait. Instead of defensive, they decided to do the attacking. This action caught the huge numbers of Persian Armies off guard.

Everything happens too fast. A night before that, they all loaded their horses to the ship. This action only shows how they underestimated the power of Greeks. As a result, they suffer bitterly. Greeks had turned the table around. They make some battle plans that the Persian soldier had never expected. The approach the enemies under a very fast pace. In addition to that, they make a battle formation that would protect their soldiers from any assault of the archers. It really works. This thin of hope are what allows the Greeks to win.
