The reproductive system of a man is very essential, and it needs to be maintained and looked after carefully. There are many infections that can infect such reproductive organs. Such infection may include phimosis, which is a reproduction disease that may cause pain while urinating or having sex due to the tightness of the skin around the penis. The following are measures that one should take for prevention of tight foreskin.

Cleaning the penis regularly and drying it, is one thing that prevents one from getting reproductive infections. This prevents any micro-organisms from surviving in the area hence no infection can develop. Generally, hygiene always results in good health at large. This should be done on a daily basis so as to maintain a high standard of reproductive health.

Sometimes it becomes very hard to talk about reproductive health with anyone else, these can be dangerous because by talking, one may know what to do in any situation. Seeking the advice of your doctor, in case of any warning sign can be a great help so as to curb any infection that will be developing. If one notices any discharge from the penis or experience any pain while urinating he should contact his doctor immediately.

Stretching the foreskin back and forward regularly also helps a lot in the prevention such a condition. This should be done from an early age to old age. Small boys may be helped by their parent to stretch this skin so that it becomes flexible and allow its movement even in old age, the stretching is done throughout the life of a man.

The work of the skin is to cover other body parts. This can become a problem if the skin cracks due to dryness. It is so painful, especially around the genitals. The pain may be alarming if the person tries to engage in sexual intercourse or urinate. This can be prevented if there is lubrication. Men should use lubricates so as to help the skin to become soft and nourished hence reducing the possibility of an infection development.

The tight foreskin may also be as a result of a sexually transmitted disease. Practicing unsafe sex may at long last bring infection in the reproduction system. To prevent this, a person should practice safe sex by using female or male condoms for prevention of sexually transmitted infections. Such diseases may include genital herpes, syphilis or gonorrhoea.

Skin infections may appear around the private parts may also be a major cause of tight foreskin. Most skin infections cause dryness and itchiness to the skin, which afterwards may cause stiffness of the skin. To avoid this, the infection should always be treated as soon as they are noticed to avoid any further damage that may arise.

Another way of preventing tight foreskin is through circumcision. This is usually the removal of a foreskin, which is the main part that is affected by the infection. After going through circumcision, one may reduce the chances of contracting any other reproductive diseases such as sexually transmitted infections or urinal tract infection.
