The Disney World complex in Bay Lake and Buena Vista, Florida is located near Orlando. While there are several hotels in these areas, not all are disney world hotels, though some do offer the same benefits. After which, Disney gained the rights to become an incorporated city. Sadly, Walt passed away before the work began and never lived to see the completion of the project. Later, the company began creating a resort akin to that of the location in California.
The company later abandoned the earlier concepts for a planned village and community. After which, Magic Kingdom was the first theme park to open in 1971. Later, Epcot was built in 1982, Hollywood Studios in 1989 and Animal Kingdom, the most recent in 1998. The newest attraction is that of the Star Wars Experience, complete with costumes, characters, games and rides related to the film enterprise.
